Yusuf is the University Coordinator of the UPLB Climate and Disaster Risks Studies Center (UPLB-CDRSC) and UPLB-GS-SESAM Affiliate Assistant Professor. His research undertakings are on climate change adaptation in agriculture, vulnerability and risk assessments, environment and veterinary public health, and food safety. He is actively engaged in mainstreaming CCA and DRRM into extension education, capacity building, and integrated community and local government planning.
