DOST-SEI Announced Measures to Aid Scholars Affected by ECQ

Scholars under the Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) will be given considerations regarding the policies of the implementation grade requirements and duration of scholarship.

This is due to the declaration of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent adjustment in academic policies instituted by universities and colleges, according to memorandum signed by Dr. Josette T. Biyo, Director, DOST-SEI. 

The measures shall be applicable to graduate scholars of graduate scholarships who are expected to graduate on time at the end of the second semester of AY 2019-2020 but was not able to do so due to the pandemic. The full details can be found in the DOST-SEI memorandum attached:
