Dr. Suy Sucol is a licensed veterinarian with years of technical work on animal health and livestock production at the Department of Agriculture in ARMM (DA-ARMM). He joined UPLB-SESAM in 2014 and has since been assigned to organize, coordinate, consolidate and implement the programs, projects and activities of the UPLB Climate and Disaster Risks Studies Center (UPLB-CDRSC). He is actively engaged in assisting the Local Government Units (LGUs) of the CALABARZON Region in the conduct of their Climate and Disaster Risks Assessment (CDRA) and the formulation of their Local Climate Change Action Plan (LCCAP) in cooperation with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region IV-A. He continues to pursue his research interests primarily on climate change adaptation in agriculture and on One Health paradigm (environment/Environmental Science-people/Human Medicine-animals/Veterinary Medicine interfaces).
